What Is Growing Gorillas?

At SBG Bozeman we offer an excellent program called Growing Gorillas, an SBG Kids Martial Arts curriculum. It combines the discipline of Martial Arts & Yoga training with personal development and life skills. Kids of all ages and abilities at Straight Blast Gym Bozeman become independent thinkers and compassionate leaders, learning to navigate all of life’s challenges.

Our Chimpanzees (7-9 Years) is the second step in our Growing Gorillas program, following our Spider Monkeys (5-6 Years).

First Steps on the Mats

Our gym quickly becomes the place your child loves most. Through games and new friendships they gain the confidence to tackle every challenge.

Once they feel at home we layer in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu movement games, guiding them toward smooth, precise body control.

Mastering challenges and movement turns courage, initiative, integrity and resilience into habits that last a lifetime.
