Teaching Life Skills to Bozeman's Homeschool Community

At SBG Bozeman, our kids’ homeschool Jiu Jitsu classes are designed not just as a sport, but as a full-spectrum learning experience. Offered twice a week, they seamlessly complement any homeschool setup—whether your child is fully homeschooled, attends a co-op, or participates in an alternative education program.

We offer 4 Age Groups, all of which learn Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) and complete the life skills homework in a way that conducive to their age level.

  • Micro Monkeys – 3 to 4 years
  • Spider Monkeys – 5 to 6 years
  • Chimpanzees – 7 to 9 years
  • Juniors & Teens – 10 to 15 years

While Martial Arts training is our delivery system for the development of young minds and bodies, our core philosophy is rooted in a commitment to developing young bodies and minds to be successful in all facets of life.

Through martial arts, our children:

A Space for the Whole Family

We’ve recently completed our renovations making SBG Bozeman well equipped for multi-child households.

Siblings can comfortably work on school assignments or hang out with friends in our new lobby while others are on the mat, making the most of everyone’s time.
